Getting Started – Think About Your Rooms Use
| We all assume to know the rooms in our home, But before you start your search for that perfect rug you will want think beyond what that room is for, to how the room is lived in.
How is it lit? How much is it used? Is it primarily for family or visitors? Does it serve a single purpose or do areas of the room serve different functions? Take some measurements and draw the room out. It does not need to be perfect, but having a basic understanding of its dimensions; where the walls, windows, doors and other items are located within your space, will help ensure proper rug placement and sizing. |
